Fall Out Boy was formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2001. The band currently consists of Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley. The group released some LPs before they were signed with record label Fueled by Ramen, at which point they recorded their official debut album.

The band didn’t break into the music “mainstream” until 2005 with their album “From Under The Cork Tree”. The album reached number 12 in the UK album charts almost a year after it was initially released.

The band would continue to climb their way up the charts and into the hearts of the public. Although they have never had an album reach number one, three of their albums in the last ten years have reached the number two spot.

The group took a hiatus from 2009 to 2013 and have since said it “finally gave us time to reflect and grow up” (Rolling Stone).

Fall Out Boy have performed at festivals and in stadiums and arenas around the globe. Although their most recent tour has been delayed by COVID-19, the band don’t look like they’re slowing down any time soon.
